FAQS

What are PDUs?

PDU stands for Professional Development Unit, PDU is a unit of measurement used to quantify your professional development and is one of the requirements of the PMP exam. 1 PDU represents 1 hour of study you have undertaken as part of the Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) program.

Can I still earn Education PDUs as before?

Your training provider, as long as it is a PMI Authorized Training Partner or your organization, offers courses that meet the criteria; including participation in PMI conferences, PMI training and other events; or through self-directed study.

When reporting PDU activity, is any supporting documentation required?

PMI does not require the form format of the PDU. When reporting your PDU through CCRS, you only need to detail specific information about the activity in the application form.
